Timber & Glass Trestle Desk

Design Information

A modern interpretation of a pragmatic workhorse.

By combining the simplicity and integrity of the trestle leg with the beauty and strength of solid timber and glass, we have created this: The Timber & Glass Trestle Desk

Historically used as legs for a worktable, the trestle table is no less practical today.

The trestle leg design is simple yet strong, and is able to provide support for a variety of purposes.

When hand-building the trestle legs, we have used several different timber species, including Jarrah, Fijian Rimu (as depicted on this page), and Walnut.

The timber is finished with one of the highest quality Danish Oils available for a stunningly smooth & natural finish that exhibits remarkable depth.

Sitting atop the timber trestle legs is 12mm clear float glass, which is polished on all edges. We only select the highest grade of glass available, which is professionally cut and polished.

This piece is made entirely in Melbourne from locally made materials.
