ORIGINAL DESIGN
Some clients come fully informed with a specific idea of what they want; we help shape their ideas into a design, and then fabricate them to a high standard.
Others come to us with instructions as brief as please make something beautiful. This allows us the freedom to design something completely bespoke, but still very personal.
INITIAL CONTACT
Whether you’ve seen something in our pages that you’d like made to your specifications, or you’re after an original design for your space, the first step is to get in contact for a friendly chat.
The early exchange of ideas can be exciting for both designer and client.
FINAL DESIGN PROCESS
1 . We may provide you with sketches and other details to help you visualise the final product.
2 . We will then provide you with a written quotation with specifications and price.
3 . An order is confirmed with a deposit, at which point we can begin design and fabrication.
4 . We usually create a three-dimensional computer model prior to drawing up the blueprints for fabrication. Where applicable, we may provide you with a photorealistic rendering of your product.
5 . To ensure our clients are completely satisfied with the final product, we’re happy to allow clients to request minor specification changes after an order is made, but prior to fabrication, usually at no additional cost; however, please be aware that major changes to the design at this stage may result in further costs.
FABRICATION + DELIVERY
Once a final design is signed off, we’ll create detailed drawings, which are sent off to our trusted fabricators.
It sounds like a long process, but we often have an order ready for fabrication within a couple of weeks from first contact.
Lead times will vary depending on the nature of your project. We will discuss approximate lead times during the ordering process. In most cases, orders are ready for delivery about 4-8 weeks after an order is confirmed.
